We are part of the FOUR RIVERS ROUTE linking the north western Omulunga palm route and Etosha to the water ecosystems leading to the eastern Kavango Okavango pan handle in Namibia and the Okavango delta in Botswana as well as the Zambezi wetland paradise and Livingstone with the mighty Victoria Falls.
Tambuti is a small Lodge beautifully perched above the Kavango River overlooking the floodplain. We are one of the rare lodges looking at the river without getting wet feet, thus we are also open during the flood season, all year round.
Conveniently located on the small road leading down to the river from the centre of Rundu town (400m from most Banks and shops).
Tambuti is the ideal stop over before heading to the deeper Kavango and Zambezi (former Caprivi) wild bush the unique KAZA area « Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area »). We have a small restaurant specializing in local traditional African food and drinks (pre-booking of dinners recommended).
