Facing the spectacular sandstone hill with the outcrop shaped as a camels head (giving it it's name) is this tranquil farm with glorious views of the Maluti Mountains. Camelroc is situated between the two Caledon rivers and is close to Caledonspoort border post. Camelroc can definitely be recommended as a good base from which to explore the Eastern Free State as well as Lesotho.
Camelroc has seven chalets that are fully furnished and well equipped to self cater:

* two cosy open plan chalets sleeping 2 to 3
* one small 2 bedroom chalet sleeping 4
* two 2-bedroomed chalets, sleeping 6 (including a sleeper couch in the lounge)
* one 3-bedroom 8 sleeper
* one 4-bedroom 9 sleeper

In the main homestead one can be accommodated in their guest house, three rooms sleeping 6 are all en-suite and tastefully decorated with Oregon pine furnishings. Meals can be arranged on request.
