Loerie Guest House is a private business with the aim to be the businessman, family and traveller’s home away from home.
Well known for his hospitality, owner Jan-Hendrik will ensure that guests feel at home and at ease during their stay.
Our double rooms are en-suite with flat screen TVs (DSTV Stay Essential bouquet) and free wireless internet as well as a kitchenette with a microwave oven and fridge. All rooms have extra length queen size beds. Each room has its own private entrance. Most rooms have air conditioning.
Breakfast will not be served formally, but each unit is stocked with a variety of foods.
In the fridge you will find a selection of the following: Yogurt, fruit juice, milk, butter, cheese, jam. You will also find slices of bread / bread rolls / croissants, coffee/tea/sugar, rusks, muffins/scones, fresh fruit in season and cereal.
Braai facilities or dinner is available by prior arrangement; dinner at an extra fee.
We are situated 150m from the Faerie Glen Hospital which is walking distance. We are less than one kilometre from the Menlyn Maine bussiness node. We are 5,4 km away from Pretoria East hospital and 5,6 km from the Wilgers hospital.
Arrival times are from 14h00 and departure is before 10h00. At this stage payments must be cash or EFT.
At Loerie Guesthouse we follow a number of initiatives to ensure that we have a minimal impact on the environment.
We use:
o Solar heating for water
o Energy saving LED globes
o Organic material to make compost for our garden
Our garden is bird friendly and is home to a variety of bird species
We also motivate our guests to switch off lights and appliances not in use
