The Slumber Thatch is situated within the Murrayfield Security Village - a gated community. We are in the Old East of Pretoria bordered on one side by the Moreletta Spruit - river. The properties are large with lush Gardens and many big trees. We pride ourselves on our prolific bird life and interesting small creatures like rabbits, tortoises, mongoose, squirrels and bush babies. Walking, jogging and cycling are all easy, enjoyable and safe here. We also have a public park next to the river with a children's play area. We are en route and only 3.5 hours away from the Kruger National Park by car. We are close to many business centres, corporate parks & malls like CSIR, The Innovation Hub, Route 21, The Grove, Glenfair, Lynwood Bridge, Brooklyn and Menlyn Maine with shops, cinemas, ice rink, gaming arcades, gyms, casino and Time Square Arena. We are also close to various hospitals clinics, gholf courses and the National Botanical Gardens. We are a mere 2.2 kms from the International German School. Eating out is easy with from simple Café's to upmarket restaurants all in close proximity. Quite a few places of interest are within walking distance. We are on a municipal bus route, close to the Gautrein and Gautrein bus route and serviced by Uber.
This is an en-suite bedroom and is part of the main dwelling, but has a separate entrance. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and toilet. It is equipped with microwave, kettle and toaster and necessary cutlery and crockery. Gusta have use of shared fridge space. Guests have access to garden, pool and lapa area as well as main tv lounge.

This is a rondawel type structure in the private garden. It has a queen size bed with cloud 9 mattress and a single bed. A fourth person or child can be accommodated on an inflatable mattress with sleeping bag and pillow on the floor. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with large fridge. A bathroom includes shower, washbasin and toilet. The verandah has a dining table with 4 chairs. This unit has a television with dvd player and dvd's. Guests have free access to garden, pool and lapa area and main tv lounge.
