Watch the birds on the river from your bed... Explore the Wetlands by canoe. Swim in the pool in the garden or at Plett's beautiful beaches, a ten-minute drive away. Enjoy a picnic next to the river. Practise chipping on the chipping green - or feed the horses some apples. Share our peaceful country lifestyle & return to it after playing golf, hiking, horse-riding, game-viewing, or visiting the beaches, restaurants and shops, all just ten minutes away on a tar road.

All the rooms in the Lodge overlook the Bitou River, including the guest lounge & breakfast-room. These rooms also have cosy fires in winter, and underfloor heating. There are barbecues if you feel like eating under the stars. Otherwise we can arrange dinner reservations for you.

The rooms at the Lodge all overlook the river with its wonderful bird life. Each room has its own entrance, its own en-suite shower & bath, & its own patio to watch the sunsets from. There are overhead fans for summer coolness; & underfloor heating & mohair blankets for winter warmth. We try to make your stay as comfortable & enjoyable as possible, without intruding on your privacy. Hope to see you soon.
