The C'est La Vie Boutique Hotel offers upmarket and luxurious accommodation in a beautifully restored historical house in a quiet and tranquil area of Witbank. The boutique hotel is set in beautiful peaceful Gardens. Accommodation is offered in individually furnished and decorated guest rooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom. Witbank is situated in the Cultural Heartlands region of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Witbank means “white ridge” in Afrikaans. In 2006 Witbank was officially renamed Emalahleni which means ‘place of coal’ in Zulu. There are a number of power stations and even a steel mill in the area. Farmland surrounding the city is being bought out by investors, coal mining companies and real estate developers to accommodate the rapid development of the city. Visitors travelling from the Kruger Park to Johannesburg find Witbank to be a convenient stop en-route. There are also various activities to do in and around the town, including a casino complex housing ten pin bowling, restaurants and cinemas.
