The Celtis Lane Guest House is nestled in a quiet and safe neighbourhood in a beautiful tree-lined street, where the Celtis australis trees form a lovely lane, in the city of Boksburg on the East Rand of the Gauteng Province. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from O.R. Tambo International Airport. The guest house has a very unique and comfortable style, with a relaxed atmosphere presented as a “home away from home”. Four guest rooms are available each with an en-suite bathroom, a tea and coffee station and a Smart TV. Some rooms have a kitchenette facility. All rooms have access to and use of free Wi-Fi, a fully furnished communal guests' kitchen and a thatched lapa area with gas braai facilities. The shared guest kitchen is furnished with a gas stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, freezer and all the necessary amenities. Celtis Lane Guest House has solar power and uses borehole water and therefore experiences limited concerns with loadshedding and water shortages.
Boksburg forms a part of the East Rand of Gauteng and has blossomed into one of the area's most popular regions. The suburb was originally set up as one of South Africa's first mining towns, and has since flourished as a family-orientated part of the greater Gauteng region. The area was born as a mining town when gold was discovered back in 1887. The Main Reef Road linked Boksburg to all the other considerable mining towns and in 1890 a railway was built connecting it to Johannesburg, putting the town on the map. Celtis Lane Guest House is approximately 3 km from Birchwood Hotel, 5 km from East Rand Mall and 12 km from OR Tambo Airport.
