Tranquility Inn is located in the welcoming city of Welkom, offering a comfortable retreat for both leisure and business travellers. Designed for relaxation, the accommodation provides all the essential amenities needed for a restful and enjoyable stay. Each unit at Tranquility Inn is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Both units are identical and located next to each other, each featuring a cosy bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, and wash basin. Each unit also includes an open-plan kitchenette and sitting area, equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, and coffee and tea-making facilities. For additional sleeping arrangements, there is a sleeper couch suitable for two children, as well as a flat-screen TV for entertainment. Wi-Fi is also available, ensuring guests stay connected throughout their stay.

Directly translated from the Afrikaans or Dutch, Welkom means 'welcome'. The town emerged after the discovery of gold in the area. It is the hub of the Free State gold fields, about 160 kilometres northeast of Bloemfontein. It is one of the few cities worldwide that was completely pre-planned. As a consequence, it benefits from ease of flow and a city that functions well - suburbs each have their own shopping and commercial centres, and residents seldom have more than a 10-minute walk to reach them.
