At Hoogeland you will be on top of the world - High up against Paarl Mountain - surrounded by mountains. You will not get better views or a more tranquil atmosphere. It offers guests a beautiful and peaceful place to break away from the city rush. Guests have use of 2 communal lounges which is equipped with a TV with Dstv. Guests can also cool down in the swimming pool on those hot days, just watch the Waterfall nearby or take a hike on the property.
Hoogeland offers a lovely Double Room, Family Room, two cottages and a Honeymoon Suite. The Double Room and Family Room are furnished with comfortable double and single beds, and share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The Honeymoon Suite is furnished with a double bed and shares a bathroom that consists of a shower only. Both cottages are furnished with double beds and share a bathroom with a shower only. The Honeymoon Suite does not have electricity and Cottage B has a kitchenette equipped with a stove and fridge.
Paarl offers a range of historical attractions and activities. Guests can visit the Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument, the Anglo-Boer War Monument at the Laborie Wine Estate, the Wijnland Auto Museum, go on a wine tour or visit the KWV Cellar. Children will enjoy a visit to Butterfly World and for the golfers there is the Boschenmeer or Pearl Valley Golf Course. There are also various nature reserves in the area.
As you enter the foyer you will notice that you can see the mountain at the back of the property and also that we have no burglar bars. You are still safe here!
In the morning you will have the most beautiful views from the elevated stoep and on summer days can request that we serve breakfast there.
