There was a problem with the aircon (it was not due to loadshedding). Too many equipment was connected to one power point (which also had an old plug). This caused short circuites. This was in room 1. There were also a problem with the bathroom bowl. The plug was stucked in the bowl and the water dammed in the bowl. I reported both problems. Otherwise the service was excellent.

I really enjoy staying at Moonriver Guesthouse. Rooms are very clean. Service where excellent. Staff are really Friendly and helpful. The view are very beautiful. In this time of covid 19.I was with my family and my 05 months old grandchild. It was safe. Social distance always. There was not a lot of people we could move easy around in the Guesthouse. Really I receive value for my money. Food was great. I will definitely recommend Moonriver Guesthouse to my friends and family. The view of the river, Sunset, beautiful.

Moonriver Guest House was such a pleasant surprise at the end of a long journey home! Situated on the banks of the Orange River with ample bird life and great views. The family room was spacious and comfortable with the added luxury of a small steam room and a massaging shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with an electric blanket for added comfort. The Guest House was quiet and the staff were extremely friendly making our stay feel like a home away from home.
