Pictures is situated in Oudtshoorn, the heart of the Klein Karoo. Stylish and peaceful, Pictures is situated in a residential area of Oudtshoorn close to the town center and major tourist attractions. With its warm and comfortable environment, you will feel right at home. Our guest house offers three individually decorated bedrooms, all with a 'pictures' theme, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. A few of our recommended travel suggestions are:
Visit the world-famous Cango Caves. A trip to an ostrich farm - ride an ostrich or just stand on the eggs. A drive to Prince Albert via De Rust and the spectacular Meiringspoort gorge and return over the Swartberg Pass back to Oudtshoorn. (for this trip you will need at least 5 hours, but the views are magnificent). Visit a winery, for example Kango Winery, Bergwater, Grundheim or Karusa.
Stroke a wild cheetah at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Visit one of the best small museums in the country. Sample ostrich at an excellent restaurant - bookings made on your behalf.
