Protea Cottage has a fully enclosed garden and is set on the mountainside of Pringle Bay, and whilst neighbours are close by it's a private and quiet location. The cottage offers beautiful mountain views and limited long distant sea views of Cape Point and Cape Town.
The cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed. The second bedroom features a double bed and the third bedroom features 2 single beds. Guests' are required to bring their own linen. Duvet inners, pillows and hand towels are provided. A R450 pre-clean fee is applicable. There are 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin and the second bathroom has a bath and toilet. The cottage also features a hot and cold-water outdoor shower for after a day at the beach.
The cottage comprises a large indoor braai and an open-plan kitchen and lounge. There is a TV in the lounge on which you can stream your own movies. There is no DSTV but there is WIFI, for your personal/work-from-home use. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a Smeg oven and stove, a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for guests convenience. There is also a large dining table and chairs in the kitchen /lounge area. The house is fully secured by a clearview Fence and electric fence and beams. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
The deck comes equipped with a large umbrella and stairs to the garden. Small children must be supervised at all times when on the deck.
Guests can relax in the garden which has a pergola and recliners. The beach is just 1.3 km away and the village, with shops and restaurants, is located 1.7 km away.
Pringle Bay is situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere - we actively encourage responsible tourism and respect for our local Baboon troop as well as all other fauna and flora.
