We the Grellmann family, welcome you at the Etango Ranch Guestfarm. Our family managed Guestfarm is a four thousand three hundred acre multipurpose working ranch, situated in close proximity to the Windhoek International Airport - Hosea Kutako, the gateway to Namibia for air-travelling visitors.

Etango Ranch Guestfarm is part of the one hundred and 25 thousand ha Namatanga Conservancy. This vast area where mountains, Kalahari Sand and Central Highland ecosystems overlap creating an area of unrivaled biodiversity. It is also a well known birding 'hotspot'.

If you enter or exit our beautiful Namibia at the International Airport or just would like to enjoy true Namibian hospitality, then Etango Ranch Guestfarm is the place for you! We are a special venue that not only caters for normal Guestfarm visitors, but also for visitors entering Namibia by Air, or passengers that need to be at the airport very early in the morning. Transit passengers, who have only a few hours at their disposal, can spend these precious hours enjoying our hospitality and the peace and tranquility of our farm. Our caring personal attention and service is nationally and internationally recognized.
Etango Ranch Guestfarm is run by 2 generations of the Grellmann family, with the help of trained, friendly and competent staff. Because of previous 'Safari' activities, we have more than 30 years experience in the tourism industry. We are especially proud of our dedicated and personal service to our visitors, providing information on where to go, what to do and not to do, information on this beautiful country and its diversity of people in fact doing anything to make our guests' stay in Namibia more relaxed and enjoyable.

A herd of roughly 250 free roaming head of SIMBRA Cattle can be seen occasionally when traversing the farm. Occasionally also a herd of roughly 200 Damara sheep, attended by a shepherd and an Anatolian Shepherd Dog roam around. At the Farmhouse a variety of geese, ducks, chickens and pigeons can be seen at close range and these are a favourite with children and animal lovers, especially at feeding time. There are almost always some bottle-fed calves, sheep or hand raised ostriches for children to pet.
The main complex consists of 3 bungalows which each consist of 2 spacious, air-conditioned en-suite twin/double rooms. These 6 rooms each have their own little verandah, with even stone/concrete pathways leading to the communal open fireplace, proceeding to the comfortable lounge-cum-dining room and bar.
Special emphasis is laid on comfort-for-the-visitor: extra large beds, bedding material, spacious shower, good lighting, 2 luggage racks, coffee and tea-making facilities. We also provide a clean, sparkling splash pool for the sunbathers - amidst a well-kept lawn, which is surrounded by indigenous succulent plants and trees.

The "Kraal" is an additional complex of 6 en-suite 'Rondawels'. These rooms are not air-conditioned and are standard in their furnishings. The "Kraal" is ideal for weekend equestrian visitors, mountain-climbers and -bikers and also serves as accommodation for our Educational Center during courses offered locally.

The "Nest" consists of 2 en-suite double rooms (without air-conditioners) with large joining Verandah, joining living-cum-dining room, TV (DEUKOM & DSTV), private thatched Lapa, excellent birding possibilities, Pond and a lovely well-kept garden.
