The Ashanti Guest Houses are home to all the en-suite rooms that have evolved from the main lodge of Ashanti Backpackers. They are located around the corner from the backpackers and our guests are welcome to use all the facilities of the main lodge, yet have the comfort and tranquility of these two beautiful Victorian homes to sleep in. Each house has been decorated to exacting standards and all rooms are equipped with satellite television, private bathrooms, digital safes and a tea/coffee station.
Each house also has its own well-equipped self catering kitchen and of course there is unlimited free wi-fi for everyone's use. Remember - check-in is at Main Lodge where most of the facilities are.
Gardens (or The Gardens) is an inner-city suburb of Cape Town located just to the south of the city centre located in the higher elevations of the "City Bowl".
It is located directly beneath Table Mountain and Lion's Head. It is an affluent neighbourhood populated mostly by young professionals and contains numerous chic restaurants, hotels, boutique shops and loft apartments.
