Mountain Breeze self-catering log cabins is in a tranquil environment on a working Protea farm and can be found just off the N2 National Road on the Garden Route (R102), only 12km from the Storms River Bridge.

Described as the ‘garden of the Garden Route’, the Tsitsikamma actually deserves a more vivid description to encapsulate the beauty of the place. Far from being a garden, the Tsitsikamma is a place where magic and the ancient have merged to create a fairytale. The Tsitsikamma forest is a huge protected conservation area that supports an incredibly diverse ecosystem.
Our Cabins is fully equipped for all self-catering needs, with your own personal view of the surrounding plantations and view of the Tsitsikamma mountain range. We are also a working protea farm which specializes in the growing of numerous kinds of proteas for our beautiful bouquettes for exporting.

Our Cabins is conveniently situated near attractions such as Tsitsikamma Adventures, The Big Tree, Wolf Sanctuary, Tstitsikamma National Park and much more.
Tsitsikamma is a khoi word meaning "place of abundant or sparkling water". The region stretches from the Bloukrans River in the west to Eerste Rivier in the east, is bordered on the north by the imposing Tsitsikamma mountains and in the south by the Indian Ocean.

The area is covered in large tracts of indigenous forest, commercial plantation and Fynbos. Deep river gorges cleft the plateau as they make their way down to the sea, creating spectacular waterfalls and deep kloofs. A mild all year round climate allows one to make the most of all the outdoor activities that are on offer, whilst a high rainfall ensures the lushness of vegetation that the area is renowned for.
