All the suites at Oceana offer privacy, serenity and opulence in equal measure, from the moment you enter our peaceful reserve until you leave, our guests are the richer for the experience. The 3 Lodge Suites combine comfort with an authentic ambiance inspired by regional artefact's and animals. Each suite is individually appointed, in the theme of the animals guests might encounter while at the reserve. The suites form part of the main lodge with access to the games room. Draw back the curtains and step onto your private deck with its beautiful views out into the unspoiled beaches of the Eastern Cape. Each of the 4 Ocean Suites radiates an atmosphere of a classic lodge. The thatched entrance leads through to a comfortable lounge area synonymous of an era of understated elegance, and each open onto a considerable and private wooden deck overlooking the ocean and the reserve, with a 180° view.

The Private Ocean House is the finest accommodation we have to offer at Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve. With 268 square metres of exquisite luxury, three large bedrooms and opulent bathrooms to match, the Private Ocean House is designed to showcase the ultimate in style. It has been appointed with decorative features considered to welcome guests into calming ambient, which is enhanced by original antiques and artifacts displayed throughout. With every luxury catered for, including a heated private Jacuzzi (plunge pool), the Private Ocean House is the perfect place to relax or entertain.




Oceana is located 8 km from Port Alfred in between Port Elizabeth and East London 140km from both sides situated in the Eastern Cape Region. The beauty of our wonder lies within, stunning beaches and river banks, and the warm-hearted people which reside in them. We are situated in the Adventure Province, with the most sunshine hours in South Africa, facilitating the enjoyment of outdoor activities. The arts and crafts in the area are well known. Port Alfred boasts not only the climate, the water, the beaches and the historical connections, but we have stepped into the modern world with top-class shopping malls, sophisticated healthcare, a Royal golf course, intimate small-boat harbour.

Of course we also have the stunning Royal Alfred Marina - one of few in the world where every home owner enjoys private water frontage and a personal jetty! You can enjoy boat cruises through the Marina canals. Grahamstown hosts the world-renowned National Arts Festival and Port Alfred also welcomes many of the visitors who come to enjoy the music, plays, art, comedy and crafts that attract thousands. We also have our very own theatre in historic Wharf Street. There is so much to do in the region, so many interesting places to go to and so much to do while visiting us here. Visit Port Alfred, chances are you'll meet some fascinating locals with plenty of yarns to tell. Folks are friendly around here. Beautiful, bountiful Bathurst is a fascinating little hamlet situated 15km from Port Alfred.

Minimum of 4 adults, maximum 6 people The Ocean House is a three bedroom house, with sole use of its facilities. The rooms all have king size beds and a deck around the front of the house with views over the bush and ocean as well as a heated Jacuzzi.
