Looking for a family holiday or quiet weekend getaway? Look no further than George Country Resort. Offering self-catering chalets and beautifully shaded sites with protection from the wind, it is situated in the heart of the Garden Route, halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
We have two bedroomed chalets, open plan chalets with bathrooms (shower) fully equipped kitchens and outside decks and camping sites available.
The chalets are open plan or 2 bedroom self-catering units: Kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave. Two-plate stove, toaster, kettle, cutlery. Crockery, pots and pans. Broom, mop and dustbin. 4 Seat breakfast nook. Colour TV with sport and movie channels. Bedding and towels provided. Bathroom: Shower, toilet and hand basin. Braai facilities: Outside each unit, braai grids available at R300 deposit. Deck with plastic table and two chairs.
Camping - Our 74 sites are shaded and grassed with 220V power points. Scullery and laundry facilities available. The ablution facilities provide clean showers and baths.(Toilet paper not supplied, please bring your own)
The swimming pool and play area with trampoline will keep the children happily occupied, and there is a lapa near the pool where parents can get together for a braai.
George Country Resort is close to Victoria Bay, a picturesque, secluded beautiful beach a popular surfing spot, angling spot and tidal pool, The endless beaches of the Wilderness also just 10 minutes away. The George Wildlife Park is within walking distance from us with Cheetahs, Bengal Tigers, Servals, Caracal, Lions and so much more.
We have 20x comfortably appointed Two Bedroom Chalets which can sleep up to 6, 6x spacious Open Plan Chalets which sleep up to 3, 4x Backpacker Dorm Units with 12 single beds in each, 74x Camping Sites which are 10x10m on grass with 220V power points and 24x Newly build Overnight Rooms with 2 single beds in each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, smart TV and free Wi-Fi.

Location of George Country Resort:
The resort is just off the N2 and therefore easy to locate. We are situated 7 km from the George CBD. Mossel Bay is a mere 50 km away, Victoria Bay only 3.7 km and Wilderness 7 km. For shopping, movies and dining, the Garden Route Mall is just 2 km down the road.

George Country Resort is a nice place for a weekend breakaway. Me and my family had enjoyed ourselves. We arrived late but the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. I personally thank her, keep up the good work. I recommend anyway to stay at the resort.
