Kosi Bay Casitas is a rustic getaway in northern Zululand. We're close to Sodwana Bay and Ponta do Ouro, making the Casitas an ideal stop-over for divers and snorkelers. We're situated a mere 2 km from the third lake of the Kosi estuary, 10 km from the Farazela Border Post to Mozambique and 15 km from Kosi Mouth, which is our nearest beach.
We offer neat and comfortable accommodation in our rustic and eclectic chalets and shady campsites. We have a restaurant and swimming pool on site.
We also have a backpacker's lodge which has a dorm room and two double rooms.
The Kosi Bay estuary is home to a variety of birds and wildlife including hippopotamus and crocodile and as wildlife enthusiasts, we'll be happy to assist with advice on the surrounding game reserves and birding hot-spots.
Snorkeling, turtle tracking for both Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles during their nesting season, canoeing, bird-watching, boat trips, Mozambique trips, 4x4 trails and fishing trips all form part of the activities available to the Kosi Bay visitor if you can entice the fishermen away from what is first and foremost, a fisherman's paradise.
