Set in the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains and surrounded by the unspoiled beaches of the Indian Ocean, Botlierskop Private Game Reserve ensures a truly unique safari experience. The reserve is situated on a 3500ha game farm and comprises of over 26 different species of animals and a wide variety of birds. Wildlife at the reserve includes the rare black Impala, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Mountain Zebra and Eland.
Each of the 15 luxury air-conditioned tented suites at Botlierskop is elegantly decorated in a romantic colonial theme with 4-poster beds draped with mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms are lavishly equipped with deep baths and and stunning views.
All suites are equipped with a mini bar and telephone. High-raised wooden walkways connect each of the tents to the restaurant and lounge area. The Fireplace restaurant provides guests with authentic South African meals, served in ambient settings.
Day visitors and overnight guests can enjoy our 3 hour 4x4 game drives or saddle up for a horseback safari and escape to the majestic mountain valleys and beautiful fynbos for 1 or 2 hours and experience nature like never before. The Spa situated on the riverbank surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery consists of two treatment rooms named Fauna and flora. The interior matches the exterior, bringing nature indoor but with a touch of elegance and comfort. I'm so happy that my husband and I chose to take a weekend break to Botlierskop. It was the best weekend away we've had in years! The lodge is luxurious and yet relaxing, service and staff we could not fault - every single one of the staff are wonderful at what they do.I thoroughly enjoyed the game drive and elephant ride we went on, and really REALLY didn't want to leave!Would genuinely recommend this game reserve to everyone - can't wait till I get the opportunity to go again one day.!Thank you to everyone!
