Vehicles with raised suspension are recommended as access to Star Dam Estate is via farm/dirt roads that are not well suited to low-line city cars.

Such an incredible escape. We (6) were blown away by the beautiful Ingleford lodge. My only issue was with the connectivity but it is meant to be an escape from the city in any case but atleast to have coverage to make calls home. If the housekeeper could get an extra set of hands it would help ease the burden. Cleaning services should arrive at 8am not 11am.
We did the activities - horse riding and boat ride which was amazing. ♥️
Give the staff walkie talkies also because having to wait until you see the staff members physically to communicate an issue is worrisome. There’s no panic button in case of an emergency - who can the guests contact from the lodge?
What a beautiful Estate all in all 🤝

Perfection, Perfection!!!
But the road leading to the estate was our worst nightmare. Fix the road please. I’m pleading!

Beautiful scenery, enjoyed every moment. Definitely more than what I expected.The housekeepers were just awesome and always around if needed. Think they can add more signs to star dam as you start going up the mountain as at some point you end up thinking maybe you took a wrong turn.
