Bundox Explorer Camp is a luxurious eco-tented camp that offers a low-impact safari experience in the Greater Kruger Park. The accommodation includes meals and safaris. The camp is located in the Balule Private Nature Reserve, within the Big 5 area, where guests can enjoy game drives and guided walking tours through the Lowveld and along the Olifants River.
Accommodation at Bundox Explorer Camp comprises 4 free-standing canvas tents, which can accommodate 2 guests each. Each tented stand features an en-suite bathroom with a contemporary hot-water bucket shower, a flushing toilet, and cold-water taps. Breakfast and other delectable camp-cooked meals are included and are served in either the main dining area or in the open-air boma around a fire.
The main lodge boasts a plunge pool overlooking the reserve, and a social lounge, and a well-stocked bar area where guests can relax.
This exclusive camp offers an intimate setting and has only a few staff members who manage the lodge and camp, from guiding to cooking and maintenance. The layout is intended to suit small groups and couples who would enjoy a personal experience in close comfort with nature.
Guests need not be surprised if they hear the whoop of hyenas, the lion's contact calling, and the gentle sounds of nature while relaxing in their tent or around the camp.
