Set in the Balule Nature Reserve, this owner run, small private camp provides luxury safari-style tented accommodation, delicious food, rich game viewing and spectacular views, as our boundary with Kruger National Park is open and the Northern Drakensberg Mountains form a majestic backdrop.

The luxury tented camp boasts six fully furnished spacious, elevated and air-conditioned canvas tents accommodating 2 people each that provide all the goodness and simplicities of contemporary living, without detracting from the majestic splendor of the surrounding African Wilderness. Comfortable patio seating inside and outside and private coffee/tea/desk station allow for uninterrupted bliss and memorable intimate conversation.

Each tent boasts a spacious private deck and an unrestricted private view of the Drakensberg mountains, allowing you to laze and watch the wildlife follow the sunset. A rustic, yet contemporary outdoor shower and spacious bath complement a seamless integration into nature. On entrance to the safari tent you are welcomed by two 3/4 extra length beds and en-suite bathroom facilities (including inside shower and toilet).

The tents are surrounded by an assortment of indigenous flora that add to the beauty and ecological significance of the surrounding landscape. The tents are fully open to the acoustics of the surrounding wildlife, and often at night a cacophony of wildlife can be heard in its natural splendor.

Set along the western boundary of the famous Kruger National Park and within the Balule Nature Reserve, the luxury tented camp overlooks vistas of Drakensberg mountains and expanses of true African Wilderness.

Undulating rivers and scenic watering holes host an eclectic array of Big 5 and other keystone species, such as pods of hippo and crocodile. Frequenting elephants often provide an intimate viewing experience.
