Just like in nature, where butterflies are indicators of a healthy environment, here in Pringle Bay, against the mountain, the butterflies will lead you to a haven of soulful luxury.

In 2022, Dreamview was born from our sincere desire to share the spectacular views, warm village hospitality and rich natural life of the Kogelberg Biosphere with our beloved guests. We took the entire 207m² ground floor of the Villa and gutted, renovated and decorated it with the help of local artists. The result is a spacious 4-bedroom lodge with a warm and vibrant character, filled with beautiful local artwork.

Dreamview can accommodate 6 adults and 3 children (an extra double sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2 more). We took great care to ensure maximum privacy and comfort. All 4 bedrooms (2x queen, 1x double, 1 with a bunk bed for 2) have doors that open to outside spaces. We have selected every piece of organic cotton linen to ensure that your sleep is plush and restful - many of our guests say that ours are the most comfortable beds they’ve ever been in. The main bedroom (/Glass Suite) has an en-suite bathroom while the other 3 bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, one with a shower & basin, and one with a toilet & basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare a feast, or you can make use of our recommended private chef if you’d rather order in or have a meal prepared on-site. Filtered drinking water is on-tap.
The Butterfly Villa is 90% off-grid, with solar panels providing electricity even when the power is out. Free unlimited WiFi is available throughout the Lodge.
What makes The Dreamview Lodge truly exceptional is the large terrace that runs along the entire front of the property, from which the 270° view over the village and False Bay is simply breathtaking. We’ve made this outdoor space even more special by installing a Jacuzzi and by building a giant fire pit with seating nestled in the fynbos. The open-plan lounge and kitchen/dining area (with indoor fireplace) flows naturally onto the al-fresco lounge on the terrace (it can be enclosed with exterioir blinds for more privacy or to keep the wind out).
Off-street parking is available behind a secure, gated entry with sufficient space for up to 6 vehicles. The electric fence also serves the purpose of keeping the baboons at a healthy distance.

The Lodge can be rented as a whole, or book the GLASS SUITE or FAMILY SUITE for a smaller group.
The Glass Suite sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children on pop-out mattresses on the floor.
The Family Suite sleeps 4 adults and 2 children (with a possible 2 more on a sofa bed in the lounge).
Please note that the top floor of the Butterfly Villa is reserved for private use.

The Dreamview Lodge is pet friendly, with some exceptions. Please check with us before arriving.

The Dreamview Lodge is all on one level with passages and a bathroom wide enough for a wheelchair, there is just one small step at the entrance.

The Lodge is a 5-minute walk from the beach and a choice of great restaurants and shops in the village of Pringle Bay. Activities in the area include sandboarding, kayaking, biking, Blue Flag beaches, surfing, boogie boarding, stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), swimming and numerous walking trails.

Pringle Bay is situated in the UNESCO Kogelberg Biosphere, and guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife from the kitchen, dining room and patio or go for a short drive to Stony Point Penguin Colony or the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden in Betty's Bay. Pringle Bay is a fantastic spot for whale watching from July to October.
