Sionsberg Farmstay offers self-catering accommodation in a beautiful farmhouse built in 1741 and is located on a working sheep farm situated 22 km from Riversdal. This farm also specializes in macadamia nuts and avocado pear Orchards.

This lovely home can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The spacious main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the third and fourth bedrooms each have a single bed, while the fifth bedroom is furnished with a double bed. These 4 rooms make use of the second bathroom fitted with a bath. The fully furnished front porch is the whole length of the house and has an eight-seater dining table on one side and a nice sitting area on the other side. This stoep/porch has the most breathtaking view over a well-manicured garden, oak trees, the Langeberg Mountains where Sleeping Beauty came to rest, and Gysmanshoekpass. There is a barbecue braai on the lawn in front of the sitting area of the stoep to braai and enjoy. On the back porch are 2 fruit crates with wood, 4 space bicycle rack, and two Adirondack chairs to use to look at the view as well as a climbing frame with two swings and a slide under a big willow tree.

Riversdale is situated in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Situated on the Garden Route, Riversdale is a town that has something for everyone and visitors will always feel welcomed by the friendly local residents. Riversdale is a quaint country town situated on the N2 highway between the Langeberg mountain range, on the bank of the Vet River, that flows into the Indian Ocean at Stilbaai. The town was named after Harry Rivers, a local government official, and proclaimed in 1938. The majestic Langeberg Mountain range is a predominant landmark. The beautiful Sleeping Beauty mountain peak provides a well-known backdrop to the town of Riversdale.
