NYATI Safari Lodge was established 27 years ago by the Danish couple Jørgen and Lisbeth Nielsen. The lodge is managed by a South African family, ensuring quality and excellence in every stay. NYATI Safari Lodge is set within its own 10,000-hectare private Big Five wildlife reserve, which shares an open border with South Africa’s world-renowned
Kruger National Park.

14 guests. All lodgings are located right on the banks of the Olifants River, offering stunning views of untouched, wild nature. The buildings are connected by a charming network of paths and footbridges.

The 5 luxurious Rhino Tents at NYATI Safari Lodge are all facing the Olifants River and are built into the slope with the natural environment. Each luxurious tent features its own en-suite bathroom and the spacious private deck offers a spectacular view of the Olifants River and the vast African bush. Relax and enjoy the stunning view while elephants, giraffes, antelope and other wild animals come down to the river to drink as you savour the splendid sunset.

Olifant Villa Suite

Our 6 Olifant Villa Suites offer spacious and private accommodations suitable for groups of friends or families seeking more space and privacy. Each suite features two, three, or four bedrooms, a large living room, a private pool, a boma (outdoor dining area), and a covered furnished terrace with panoramic views of the bush and Olifants River. These elegant Olifant Villa Suites are designed to provide a secluded and intimate atmosphere, located just a short walk from the main lodge where the restaurant is situated. This proximity allows easy access to amenities while ensuring a tranquil and private setting for guests. River Bungalow

The 10 luxury River Bungalows at NYATI Safari Lodge are positioned facing the Olifants River, seamlessly integrated into the slope towards the riverbank to ensure harmony with nature and provide stunning panoramic views from each bungalow. Featuring large sliding glass doors, each bungalow opens onto a private furnished terrace, offering guests a spectacular vista of the Olifants River and the expansive African bush. Guests can unwind on a comfortable hammock while observing elephants, giraffes, antelope, and other wildlife gathering at the river to drink, all against the backdrop of a magnificent sunset.
