Meaning "peace" in the local dialect, Lokuthula consists of 2 and 3 bedroomed luxurious self catering lodges, sleeping 6 and 8 respectively.
Situated for their proximity to nature, and just 4 kilometres from Victoria Falls, the lodges are furnished in a riot of ethnic colours and fully equipped with everything a discerning guest would wish to find in an upmarket Lodge. Each lodge is serviced daily by Lokuthula's friendly and professional housekeeping staff. Rates are charged per lodge per night - making them ideal for family or group getaways.
Surrounded by 80 000 hectares of unspoilt African bush, Lokuthula shares a border with the Zambezi National Park, offering magnificent views of the pristine Bushveld. A nearby waterhole attracts a wide variety of game during the year, including elephant, buffalo, impala and kudu.
Facilities include a three tier swimming pool with children’s pool, a children’s playground and volleyball court, a poolside bar and informal restaurant serving light meals and snacks throughout the day (from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM). The award-winning open air Boma Restaurant, which provides an evening of Zimbabwean culture, entertainment and food to create an unforgettable experience, Resident’s lounge with satellite TV, public card phone booth (situated at The Boma), same day laundry service, telephone and fax facilities from reception, baby-sitting facilities on request, curio shop, tours desk and car hire reservations - operated from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. All lodges have safe deposit boxes, limited maids quarters available for rent by advance booking, 24 hour security and a medical air rescue service is on call locally.

We had a lovely stay at Lokuthula Lodge. The fact that it shares it's premises with the beautiful Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is a bonus as the deck overlooking the waterhole is the most amazing place to sit and have a sundowner. Lokuthula is a lovely self catering option. The rooms are lovely, the staff are very helpful and polite, and all in all a wonderful stay.
