We warmly invite you to share with us the tranquil spirit of Diemersfontein - whether you are conferencing here, marrying here, staying for a few days of leisure (or even permanently!) - or taking some of it home in a bottle! Diemersfontein is known for its beauty, informal elegance and grace - an idyllic country destination only 45 minutes' drive from Cape Town.
Diemersfontein Country House was built at the end of the 19th Century, and is set in majestic Gardens with sweeping lawns, abundant roses and azaleas and has a secluded mountain shadow pool.

Thirty comfortable, en-suite bedrooms are available. Our conference/function centre accommodates up to 65 delegates, or can comfortably seat 100 guests for a dinner.

Over the years, Diemersfontein's garden has been the romantic setting for many memorable weddings on balmy summer evenings. Visitors can enjoy mountain hikes, stunning horse trails in the fynbos foothills, Bass fishing, and easy access to three wine routes, local golf courses, and our excellent a la carte country restaurant, Seasons.
Diemersfontein Wines proudly celebrates it's 10th anniversary this year! (2010) We are red wine specialists and are delighted with the reaction to our award winning full-bodied fruit-driven wines. Diemersfontein, home of the ORIGINAL coffee, chocolate Pinotage.
