3 Free Accommodation Winners so far!Goblin’s Creek is situated in quiet peaceful surroundings of the fishing village Stompneusbaai. As you enter the open living area a wide and very comfortable sitting room with huge overstuffed sofas beckon you to curl up with a good book and liqueur. Equally inviting in summertime, with French doors opening the light and airy space onto the large surrounding veranda and garden. A spacious well-equipped communal kitchen invites for self-catering use. Close by in a lovely sheltered spot is the swimming pool for cooling off on the hot summer days or just lounging around relaxing and sunbathing. Goblin’s Creek boasts two light and airy garden rooms and four magnificent bedrooms in the main house, designed for the romantic at heart. The garden rooms are at the back garden of Goblin's Creek with access through the main house. Each room has a beautiful view over the huge garden and our sanctuary animals. These light and spacious rooms have king size beds which can be converted to two single beds. The rooms are equipped with a TV with 18 channels, free wi-fi, a mini fridge and a coffee machine. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower. The fully equipped communal kitchen at the main house as well as all other amenities are at your disposal. The rooms in the main house have huge four-poster beds with puffy duvets and white percale linen and of course a log fireplace. Each room has an open plan bathroom with old-fashioned ball and claw bath (no shower). This rooms also have a mini fridge and a coffee machine. Drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves of the nearby beach and the calling of the owls. Take a four minute walk to the nearby beach - Stroll the white sands - view the calving whales who come from August to year's end and also large schools of dolphins leaping and chasing close by. A lovely protected cove on the South Western shore of St. Helena Bay - one of the only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world where one can see both sunset and sunrise over the sea. Though only 150 km from Cape Town, St Helena Bay has a milder and warmer climate providing ideal conditions for your stay in the peace of this quiet heaven. Well situated for day visits to the West Coast National Park, Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and the quaint fishing village of Paternoster. Or you can join a tour of the internationally renowned palaeontological diggings at the nearby Fossil Park. A Birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 200 species, visit the hides at Rocher Pan, The Berg River Estuary and salt pans of Velddrif, as well as the golf club in Vredenburg. The free spring-flower veld displays every year are a Botanists dream as is the nearby Darling and Hopefield flower shows.
