As you enter the spacious and very comfortable sitting room, huge overstuffed sofas invitingly beckon you to sit cosily with a good book in front of a huge roaring log fire or, equally inviting in summertime, the large surrounding veranda and garden. Close by in a lovely sheltered spot is the swimming pool for cooling off on the hot summer days or just lounging around relaxing and sunbathing. The cosy braai-room, decorated with fishing accessories and fishnets, is the perfect place to end a great day. Goblin’s Creek boasts four magnificent bedrooms designed for the romantic at heart. Each bedroom has a huge king size four-poster bed draped and puffy down duvet with white percale covering and of course a log fireplace. Take a four minute walk to the nearby beach - Stroll the white sands - view the calving whales who come from August to year's end and also large schools of dolphins leaping and chasing close by. A lovely protected cove on the South Western shore of St. Helena Bay - one of the only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world where one can see both sunset and sunrise over the sea. Though only 150 km from Cape Town, St Helena Bay has a milder and warmer climate providing ideal conditions for your stay in the peace of this quiet heaven. Well situated for day visits to the West Coast National Park, Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and the quaint fishing village of Paternoster. Or you can join a tour of the internationally renowned palaeontological diggings at the nearby Fossil Park. A Birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 200 species, visit the hides at Rocher Pan, The Berg River Estuary and salt pans of Velddrif, as well as the golf club in Vredenburg. The free spring-flower veld displays every year are a Botanists dream as is the nearby Darling and Hopefield flower shows.
