Brits Golf Course is an exceptional facility which has been incorporated into the Seasons Lifestyle Estate. For this reason it is also known as the Seasons Golf Club. The club is situated outside the town of Brits in Gauteng Province and proudly holds the title for being the closest bushveld golf course to Johannesburg.

The Brits Golf Course and thus the Seasons Lifestyle Estate, is situated to the west of Pretoria and north west of Johannesburg. It is found in the Hartebeespoort area, which means that should you want a change from golf, there are plenty of nearby activities to indulge in too.

The golf club boasts an 18-hole course which was initially built in 1977. Back then though it was only a 9-hole course with a further 9 holes being added in 1992. Today the course consists of bent grass and skaapplass greens with kikuyu fairways. The parklands course is lined with trees typical of a bushveld setting, making for a peaceful and scenic golfing experience.

Apart from a great setting, the Brits Golf Course has all the amenities a golfer could possibly need. There is a driving range and pro-shop, where you buy and hire equipment, and the clubhouse also has some nice social areas such as the halfway house, where you can pull in for some halftime replenishment, as well as a bar and restaurant.

The clubhouse is also proud to be able to offer function facilities. Whether you want to host a business conference, birthday party or even something as elaborate as a wedding, the Brits Golf Course staff will be happy to help you out.

Great place, it was our wedding anniversary, so we went rock climbing (Own gear) at the Nuclear Crag on Africaland property, next to Necsa and enjoyed some white water rafting in the afternoon on the Crocodile River with Paddle Power. They also own a cute little restaurant with delicious food where you get off out of the raft, the Rusty Feather. Loads of little shops and found a Wonderful Portuguese restaurant right on the water at the boat club, next to the zoo, which I'll highly recommend. CHEAP Honey, in the town, driving away from the tunnel, after the Portuguese restaurant. It's solidly worth the stop, it's run by a pharmacist and her hubby.

Hartbeespoort is a lovely place to visit to get away from home. There's lot to do and see. Also, they have a lot of restaurants and shops to visit. The best thing is that its not far to travel and you in the bush and away from the concrete jungle.
