Accommodation near Hobie Beach

Hobie Beach is situated in Port Elizbath and is close to the Boardwalk and the Shark Rock Pier, the only pier in Nelson Mandela Bay. Hobie Beach is favoured for its white sandy beach (perfect for sunbathing), its sheltered rockpools (great for swimming) and its gentle waves (ideal for bodysurfing). The warm water at Hobie Beach makes it one of the most popular swimming beaches in Port Elizabeth.

The beach has also ablution facilities and a launching place for sailing and rubber ducking and is home to the "Splash Festival", beach volleyball and world boardsailing championships.
