Accommodation near Kimberley Hospital
Mediclinic Kimberley is a hospital run by the 6th largest private hospital group in the world. Mediclinic has 49 hospitals in South Africa alone as well as a number of private health care facilities in Switzerland, Namibia and the United Arab Emirates. Given its success in multiple countries, it is safe to say that the care you will receive at a Mediclinic hospital will be of the highest standard. The Mediclinic hospital in Kimberley is no different.
Mediclinic Kimberley Hospital is housed in an art deco building in the Belgravia suburb of the Northern Cape's capital city. It has a welcoming garden out front and the interior, which is clean and modern, imbues patients and their loved ones with a justified sense of confidence in the facility.
Kimberley Hospital's multidisciplinary staff of specialists is supported by the latest technology and their approach to patient care is based on sound, up-to-date science. The hospital is reasonably small, but the fundamental bases, such as obstetrics and gynaecology and general surgery, are covered where medical disciplines are concerned.
There are a number of notable services provided by Kimberley Hospital, which include a 24 hour emergency centre, manned by a multidisciplinary team, and supported by specialist doctors on call and the best modern technology. There is also a neonatal high care/ intensive care unit and a specialised wound care clinic.
Part of what makes Mediclinic Kimberley a successful health care facility is its partnerships with highly qualified doctors in private practise, ensuring a wide range of skills.
Non-medical facilities at the hospital include a hairdresser, kiosk, restaurant, newspaper vendor, telephones, television and a pharmacy.

Wow Sleeping Out! What an wonderful ending to our holiday. Thank you so much! We LOVED our stay at Langberg Guest Farm (just wish we could have stayed longer) and would highly recommend staying there. Booking via Sleeping Out was a pleasure. The website was very user-friendly and helpful especially in dealing with a place we knew nothing about. Thank you Sleeping Out and Langberg!

Kimberley is a beautiful Northern Cape attraction. The City offers a lot to their Visitors in terms of education and entertainment. This is a tidy and neat City and good advertisement for the Northern Cape.

Kimberley was great and loved that we could stay out of the city in such a lovely place. Big Hole was amazing.

Kimberley
My last visit to Kimberly was 1989. The "Big Hole" viewing has improved no end with the new Diamond Big Hole museum and the old street which is also lit at night giving a very authentic feel to that era of time. I suggest a two day stay will cover the prominent sights including the McGregor museum and the Magersfontein Battle fields.

Kimberley is worth visiting. I did not see much of the town because of the nature of my visit. Am hoping to come back again as it is a tourist attraction.
