Kloof Country Club is located in the leafy and sometimes misty suburb of Kloof, just outside of Durban. It was established in 1927 and boasts a picturesque 18-hole, par 70-rated golf course. It has a picturesque setting, to say the least, with a thicket of trees bordering the course, gardens with streams, lily pads floating on the water surface and a healthy bird population inhabiting the abundant trees which line the course and its surrounding areas.
Each of the 18 holes is designed to incorporate the natural beauty of the Kloof landscape as well as providing a welcome challenge to even the most skilled of golfers. Additionally, there is a driving range, a practice bunker and a putting green available, and golf carts, pull trolleys and club can be hired from the club’s pro shop.
The club has a well-equipped pro shop to help you get kitted out for your next round of golf at the country club. After a good day out on the course, well-deserved refreshments and a light meal can be had at the halfway house, which is located in the clubhouse.
For those who are not golf enthusiasts, Kloof Country Club also offers tennis, cricket, squash and swimming, the facilities for which are among the best in the region. The squash centre, which is very popular, has 3 squash courts and an intimate little bar and there is a cricket field, 2 tennis courts and a well maintained swimming pool.
There are also conferencing facilities available including wedding venues for a beautiful back drop to your wedding.
