Little Cook's Club
is located in Bryanston, on the outset of Sandton.
It was first
established in 2006 by qualified chef and doting mother, Christine
Philips. Her inspiration for the idea was rooted in her need to introduce
her own children to the art of cooking.
The classes are
a hands-on introduction to cooking that teach children(and the entire
family for that matter) about healthy food choices through the use of home grown
produce. It also provides them with a greater appreciation and an
understanding over where food comes from.
There are
multitudes of programmes to choose from; starting with the tiny tots courses
right through to the adult classes. The Little Cooks Club Cooking
Programme and the Spade To Spatula Cooking Program are uniquely
designed for youngsters ages 2-6 and allow them to explore where our food
sources come from. The Junior Chefs Program is for those aged 7-15
who have an avid interest in cooking and wish to learn more about the
trade. Not only designated for the kids, Little Cooks shows it's never too late
to learn how to cook with their comprehensive cooking programs. If you're a
working mom or dad with little time to cook nutritious meals then join the At
Home Cooking Course to learn how to make healthy, easy-to-prepare dishes-
while new moms can learn to prepare healthy homemade baby food.
