Long Beach is situated in Kommetjie in the Cape Peninsula and has long stretches of golden sand perfect for walks on the beach and dog-walking. Kommetjie, in general, is great for surfing but bodyborders will also enjoy the waves. It can get windy at Long Beach so it's best to visit the beach on a calm day if you have sunbathing in mind. You can also swim at Long Beach but should be careful if there are big waves.
