Located on the Golden Mile Strip in the heart of Durban, the Olive Convention Centre is a popular venue for a number of different functions and exhibitions. A number of plans have been implemented to reduce the centre’s carbon footprint, including the use of energy efficient lights and the recycling of rainwater for non-potable uses.
Visitors to the centre can enjoy snacks served during intermissions as well as full meals during lunch breaks. Dietary requirements or specific needs of individuals will also be catered for.
Individuals looking for a quick break can do so at the nearby attractions in the area. The Moses Mabhida Stadium is less than a kilometre away from the centre and is a great place to visit if it’s your first time in Durban. The stadium is a colossal landmark that was built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The locals consider it an iconic masterpiece because of its incredible architectural design.
