De Kelders Reviews
An excellent stay within nature
- Brigitte Ramcke
Nice peaceful and relaxing place. Only thing we missed, was Pick n Pay. LOL.
- Viola Jansen
De Kelders is a lovely place, however, access to swimming pools is limited. We have 3 daughters who prefer swimming in a pool as opposed to the sea. Luckily we were only there for a weekend and they swam at the lighthouse tavern. If we were to stay longer we would definitely have appreciated pool facilities at the complex.
Just a recommendation.

Very nice area close to town . Best place for whale watching.

A fantastic place to rest. Very cosy and quiet area, not many visitors - the way we prefer our holidays. The beach is 2km from the kelders and relatively small. The whales and babies came up to the 'whale cove' in De Kelders and along Cliff Street. Migration of birds and phosphor on the ocean due to a perfect moon was a huge delight! Not much wind either [during Dec.]. Will definitely return to De Kelders with Hermanus, the beer factory, Raka wines and the cheese factory being a delight to visit. Fantastic Christmas lunch in the Blue Gum country restaurant.
