Doonside is a coastal resort located roughly 30 kilometres south west of Durban in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. It sits on the banks of the Little Amanzimtoti River, between the towns of Illovo Beach and Amanzimtoti.

Here, rare tree species like the Natal Elm and the Fluted Milkwood can be found as well as almost 300 bird species. There are also other animals like frogs, antelope and monkeys to be discovered.
