False Bay Reviews
Fish Hoek
Fish Hoek is a wonderful and picturesque little village.
A relaxed and easy-going atmosphere is paramount there.

Simon's Town
We love it to bits, slow, gentle with a great range of eateries. Just packed with history and beautiful buildings from the turn of the 20th century. A tragedy regarding the railway line; only in Africa could this occur, that a 200m stretch of beach with shifting sands can close a railway line down. The line has been operating for over a hundred years, and now suddenly they can't keep the tracks clear of sand.

Muizenberg
This is the area with all weather in one day and surrounded by malls and other facilities.

Noordhoek
Noordhoek is a well-kept secret to many. It is a beautiful area, countrified but not far away from good restaurants (Jakes being the latest addition, and knowing their food at Steenberg Village, it's a good one!). The quiet atmosphere is calming, horses, people and dogs commune happily everywhere - beach and roads. Words cannot do the seashore justice - the sand is white, the sea azure going into deep blue, and the actual beach is huge. There are many places to stay so choice is not a problem, from luxurious to basic.

Kalk Bay
It's a very nice place, friendly, and where you can walk freely seeing the sea.
There are good restaurants and bakeries, and also nice shops.
It's a good choice if you want to visit the area ( Simon's Town, Cape Peninsula...) because is cheaper and not too far.
