Greyton
Greyton is a lovely, quirky town. It is a village with lots of character - donkeys roaming, a chocolate shop, a nature reserve etc. We popped into the tourist info and got a list of eating establishments and when they open, but beware - times seem to vary according to village rules!!

A real gem of a place. Very relaxed and relaxing. Slow moving and no hustle. I think the foreigners who visit Greyton knows something many South Africans have not discovered. We were fortunate to be there on a Saturday and experienced the fun of the weekly market with local produce. We shall go there again if at all possible.

A wonderful little town nestled at the foot of the Overberg. Friendly people. Met a few of the locals who were very helpful and welcoming. Some charming homes and lovely local facilities. When in Greyton don't forget to buy Van Geuson Chocolates and the famous cheese straws.

In another time zone! So relaxed with beautiful trees and interesting little streets. Good food in a variety of restaurants and of course the busy little market on a Saturday morning where I bought delicious goodies to bring home.
