It was our first time in Kensington and I like that it's near everything.

Kensington is an older area hence the properties are older with fairly big gardens. There are as with most areas, better and safer sections. It is regarded as some as being a little downmarket, however borders on Bedfordview which is minutes away. Shopping is accessible giving you a choice of restaurants, cinemas and anything retail. Kensington also has a few good restaurants, not to mention some very intersting antique shops.

Kensington is a quaint suburb which seems to be in a bit of a time warp. With lots of antique shops enhancing the feeling of stepping back in time.
Lots of lovely little places to eat and enjoy a drink after a hectic day it the city.

Loved the area. Within walking distance of the wonderful Eastgate Shopping Centre where there are great and varied stores and plenty of places to eat. Would definitely recommend Kensington as an area to stay.
