Plettenberg Bay, the base for many a whale/seal/dolphin watching boat tour is also within an easy driving distance.
Other things to do in the area include mountain biking along one of the designated tracks which also take you through the forest, go skydiving or on a much tamer note, go and look at the big tree which more than lives up to its name!
