Its an awesome small Fisherman's town lekker mense and its so quiet just what a person need to have a break away from the busy City. This is one place that I will do over and over again. We were there a few years ago and this time its much better even the entire place is develop.

Small town with very friendly people. Birdlife was abundant. Restaurant quality was very poor. Would recommend self catering. Very well stocked Spar Supermarket available in Laaiplek. Would recommend a boat trip on the river for bird viewing.
