Big Band Meltdown
Melt’s Tavern in Gordon’s Bay, together with MyMusicMatrix is working together to put Melt’s Tavern back on the map as one of the best live music venues in the Helderberg. This will be a launch for the new Melt’s Tavern that will be making people aware that Melt’s is under new ownership and management.
Over the 5 weeks, from 13 July to 10 August, we will be bringing top entertainment to the public through a series named “Big Band Meltdown”. We have booked premier bands which includes Pebbleman (Jesse Jordan on vocals), Akkedis, The Black Cat Bones, Lost&Found (Jason and Glen from The Parlotones) and Koos Kombuis. The opening bands are Johnny Wolf, Rattlesnake, Borderline and Westley Wez.
MyMusicMatrix CC promotes SA music globally and in January 2018 was commissioned to run PR, artist bookings for Melt’s Tavern in Gordon’s Bay. MyMusicMatrix Artist Bookings has been booking and promoting artists in the Helderberg area since 2014.
To ensure smooth running of the entire project, with emphasis on marketing, advertising, networking, social media, promotion and project management, MyMusicMatrix cc is securely positioned in this respect due to its experience, knowledge, expertise, contacts and the influence it has within the music industry locally, nationally and internationally. MyMusicMatrix cc has an excellent track record with music event coordination and promotion and has worked with artists such as Johnny Clegg, Sterling EQ, Zebra & Giraffe, 3 Tons Of Fun, Mr. Cat & The Jackal, Linton Kwesi Johnson (Jamaica), Crimson House, Arno Carstens, Goodluck, Kahn Morbee (Parlotones), Ard Matthews and to name a few. MyMusicMatrix has been responsible for all the logistics for Band Survivor Hout Bay 2012 and also was the promoter for Martin Degville (Sigue Sigue Sputnik UK) SA tour.
