Bonnievale Bonanza 2014 - 4

The Bonnievale Bonanza is a sport-based, adventure and family event. It takes place at various venues throughout the town of Bonnievale, with a central festival area at the Bonnievale High School grounds. Best of all, the Bonanza is all for a good cause and proceeds go to Bonnievale Highschool.

The Bonnievale Bonanza takes place in the small farming town of Bonnievale in the Western Cape. It attracts locals, tourists, community organisations and visitors from all over the Cape on an annual basis.

The festival began in 1994, and has grown each year since. The 2013 event attracted over 5 000 visitors, 60 exhibitors and R 300 000.00 in media coverage. The Bonanza programme includes music, dance, agricultural fun, exhibition of arts and crafts of local school projects, old veteran motors, ‘potjiekos’ competitions, local products
and food and drink vendors.
