Cape Town Sixes Cricket & Cultural Festival 2018 - 50
If you and your friends are looking to test out your back-of-the-yard cricket skills, then don't miss out on the next instalment of the Cape Town Sixes and Cultural Festival. The two-day festival takes place on 24-25 March 2018 at the Green Point Cricket Club in Green Point.
This amateur cricket event encourages you to join in on the action by inviting you and your sports mad friends to pick a cricket league that best suits your skills and experience. Whether you play the sport for fun or like to take part in a competitive fashion, there is a league suited to the needs of your team. Each team will play four matches, and depending on how well you do, have the opportunity to play in the semi-finals and finals.
If, however, your team is knocked out early, there is still plenty to do and eat during the event. Foodies can enjoy a vast array of delicious culinary dishes, gin, beers and wines from the International Food Village, and the food is affordable so don't worry about digging too deeply into your pocket.
There will also be live entertainment happening throughout the event, with the festival culminating with a special music concert featuring Hot Water and Majozi!
While full of fun and friendly, the festival gives back to the community too. Giving back and developing the game of cricket is what Cape Town Sixes is all about. Their CSR initiative - #HitPovertyForASix will be running various cricket coaching clinics leading up to the main event.
