Clarens Craft Beer Festival 2017
South Africa's finest micro breweries will once again be celebrating the flavours, textures and heritage of craft beer in the beautiful foothills of the great Maluti Mountains in Clarens.
The sixth installation of the Clarens Craft Beer Festival is taking place on 24 and 25 February 2017 and visitors can expect performances by top South African bands, excellent food, cool merchandise and of course over 70 types of hand crafted brews, ciders and liquers.
The festival will host more than 20 hand selected (on the basis that they have their own dedicated micro brewer to represent them) micro breweries with over 120 distinguished blends of their seasoned favourites and traditional brews and ciders to tantalize the taste buds of both seasoned connoisseurs and novices alike. Visitors will also get a chance to meet some of these brewers and learn the tricks of the trade.
While enjoying the Weiss, Lager, Stout, Ale, Pilsner and fruity Ciders on offer, visitors may find themselves a little hungry. Gourmet food trucks will ensure that visitors have great food options to snack on throughout the day. People are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, deck chairs. A kiddies play area will be on hand to ensure that the adults can enjoy their day safe in the knowledge that their kids are suitably entertained!
Why not make a weekend of it, and find our what else beautiful Clarens has to offer?
