DStv Delicious Festival 2015
South Africa’s biggest food and music extravaganza returns to Jozi with sizzling entertainment and an even bigger focus on food and all things culinary. The DSTV Delicious International Food and Music Festival will be taking place once again on 6 June 2015 at the Huddlepark Golf and Recreation.
The Delicious restaurant will be hosted by MasterChef SA judge Pete Goffe-Wood with live demonstrations and exciting cook-offs at the Food Network pavilion by Food Network celebrity chefs Reza Mahammad, Siba Mtongana and Jenny Morris.
Dubbed as the music festival for food lovers and the food festival for music lovers, this year, multiple award winning Queen of Funk Chaka Khan and the legend of the house music scene “Little” Louie Vega are the headline music acts.
The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival presented by Nedbank first took the entertainment and culinary world by storm on its debut in Johannesburg in October 2013. Renowned UK celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and John Burton Race showcased their signature dishes at their own pop-up restaurants. Headlining the music was British funk and acid jazz act Jamiroquai supported by a host of top South African artists including Lira, Danny K, Khuli Chana, Prime Circle and Mi Casa.
In May 2014 the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival presented by Nedbank returned to Johannesburg, with UK TV chef Rachel Khoo joining her South African counterparts Jenny Morris and Siba Mtongana. Top international British music acts – jazz-funk pioneers the Brand New Heavies, club favourites Soul II Soul and acid jazz outfit Incognito – headlined the sell-out festival.
Don’t miss out on this year's flavoursome and not-to-be-missed banquet of great food and music.
