On Sunday 2 June Cape Town's Urban Oasis is hosting a World Italian Day luncheon from 1pm to 4pm for the whole family.
Conveniently situated in the heart of the Mother City, just off Orange Street in Cape Town’s Garden’s area, 15 on Orange Urban Oasis invites families to an effervescent afternoon of decadent dining celebrations. Renowned international performer, Danielle Bitton, takes the stage, tapping into European up-beats for the freshest auditory accompaniment to a Sunday celebration never to forget.
Guests are welcomed to a complimentary Disaronno cocktail upon arrival. The three-course lunch to follow kicks off with an antipasti sharing platter of olives, salami, Parma ham, chorizo, marinated artichokes, cream cheese stuffed, peppadews, brie cheese, sundried tomato tapenade, pesto cream cheese, breadsticks, ciabatta and lavashe. Starter course is accompanied by a delicious glass of Ayama Vermentino.
For mains, roast beef sirloin tagliata topped with rucola, grana padano, roasted heirloom tomato, crispy baby potatoes; and Affogato panna cotta with vanilla panna cotta, coffee jelly, amaretti biscuit and dark chocolate ganache served for dessert.
The kiddies menu for under 12 years is R150, and under 18 at R195. Seating is limited and bookings in advance essential.
