The MishMash Market will be held in The Shed, Harbour Road, Kleinmond, from Thursday, 16 June until Saturday, 18 June 2022. Operating hours are from 10h00 until 16h00 daily.
The focus of our market is to give local entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their products and to raise the awareness of the talent which can be found on our proverbial doorstep. Whether it be ceramics, plants, art, leatherwork, woodcraft, accessories, clothing, preserves or handmade giftbags – visitors have an eclectic mix to browse. Many of our exhibitors were affected adversely by the economic impact that Covid has had, others are single parents generating an income from their wares, and others are simply just very creative and have turned this creativity into a business. This market tells their story ….
For a little fun, come and view Speaker of the Overstrand Local Municipality, Councillor Grant Cohen and his team along with teams from the NSRI and Fire Department competing against each other in an epic cupcake decorating competition. Each team will receive a mystery box and cupcakes from which they need to create the award-winning decorated cupcake. The competition will start promptly at 12.00 on Thursday, 16 June and the winning team will be announced directly after the competition. Cupcakes will be auctioned off after the competition and proceeds donated to the NSRI
We will also have donation boxes on site for The Butterfly Effect and Kleinmond Animal Welfare, both local NPO’s serving their communities, so please bring along a tin or bag of dog or cat food and place it in your box of choice. Winter is here and many of our furry friends need help. Every little bit counts.
