Overview
Anchor’s Rest is situated in the small seaside town of Hermanus, 120km from Cape Town. We are a mere 150m from the famous cliff paths boasting the best land based whale watching in the world! Anchor’s Rest is a 1.5km stroll to the village centre. It lies between the historic Old Harbour (in the village) and the New Harbour with restaurants within walking distance. Champagne air, Blue Flag beaches, spectacular mountain nature reserve, beautiful golf course and other outdoor activities, make Hermanus a popular holiday destination. We will gladly help arrange bookings and plan day trips.
Accommodation is offered in 4 separate suites:-
Each has its own private entrance and patio areas and barbecue. WiFi internet Access.
Optional Continental type Breakfast, served on your patio or in your suite. An under counter fridge, tea and coffee facilities, overhead fans, microwave, wall heaters, electric blankets, hairdryers and TV including Mnet and DSTV Premium Bouquet and a DVD macineare provided in each unit.
A swimming pool and shady garden area are available for guests. Secure off street parking.
All rooms are decorated in beach house decor with crisp white linen adding a touch of luxury. The owners are always available if you need them to assist with restaurant bookings etc and advice on what to do.

Anchors Rest
The host met us and made us feel welcome very friendly and accomodating, we were taken to our cottage and were shown around. The first thing we noted was the tranquility and serenity of the place. It is stylish yet plain and tastefull. We felt at home.
